Lunar eclipse

Wade Fulp was one of my favorite photographers on Google- oops, I meant Google+ (minor lol). That's where Wade posted these pictures in January 2011. I'm unsure which lunar eclipse they are associated with. I tried to reproduce them here in chronological order.

No, I don't know why some are red rather than silver-grey as one would expect of the moon. Also, I reproduced the images I liked the most in the larger sizes.

EDIT 2025: It was possible to click through and view all of Wade's images in his Google Photos archive https://get.google.com/albumarchive/pwa/wadefulpng/LunarEclipse but Google retired Google Photos archives in 2023.

EDIT 2025: I just learned now that Wade Fulp was the subject of some sort of gamer controversy. This very brief video, only 22 seconds, gives a flavor of it. Listen with sound on.

My initial impression was, "Okayyy... but why?"

Next, I found this, and thought, "WHAT?!  Why do they dislike Wade so much?  And what or whom is ClockWerx?"  Why did Wade become a clock?

Newgrounds: Wade Fulp is a minor web celebrity!

There is a charming retro gaming website called Newgrounds.  Via The Washington Post in April 2021:

Tom Fulp is the founder of the popular creator-content website Newgrounds. He started the website in 1995, but the website didn't really kick off until 1999, when it fully embraced Adobe Flash creative suite, which allowed websites to transform from simple text and images to videos, animations, games and more.

When Adobe stopped support for Flash, his website had more than two decades worth of content that would stop functioning. His solution? An in-browser program called Ruffle that emulates what Flash Player used to be.
Wade is Tom Fulp's brother!  Or rather, Tom is Wade Fulp's brother.

Wade is a great photographer, as demonstrated by these lunar eclipse photos. He also has a Youtube channel which I like a lot too.
